Everything you ever wanted to know about Idea Shop, plus some other
stuff
Idea Shop was founded in 2002. Here are a few relevant facts about our key players:
Matthew
Farr, President
In 1987, Matt graduated from the University of Missouri School of
Journalism, moved to Chicago, and landed a job as a copywriter at Leo
Burnett. Later, he spent 7+ years
at United Blood Services, where his duties included PR and
appearing on TV as the company spokesman. Since moving to Colorado in
1997, Matt has become an expert in Web site design and usability, while continuing to work in advertising,
direct mail and brand development. He has won several awards, including a local Emmy. His blog can be found at
rustybrain.com.
Keith
Rosenhagen, Creative Director
After graduating from Arizona State University, Keith bravely fought the scalding heat of Phoenix while
honing his design and account management skills at various firms. After returning to Colorado, Keith struck out on his own as a one-man design shop. His "soup-to-nuts" creative services have included everything from corporate identity
development to print advertising to refrigerator magnet design. His work has won numerous awards.
Keith can be seen performing locally as a singer/songwriter. He is known to his friends as
the "Neatest Man Alive."
Rachel
Prago, Art Director
Rachel hails from the great state of North Carolina, known for both exceptional clouds and awesome designers,
graduating Magna Cum Laude from the School of Design at NC State University. She's worked at design firms in
Phoenix, Atlanta, and Denver for a wide range of Fortune 500 clients. She's won numerous awards, but she refuses
to divulge the details about the awards or clients, preferring to remain modest. She reads a lot, does not
own a TV, and is a crack pool player. She likes to wear mittens, even while typing.
Ross Evertson, Designer
Ross grew up in Colorado driving motorcycles and shooting photos (usually not at the same time). He graduated from
Art Center in L.A., where he honed his photography and design skills to levels of greatness comparable to astronauts.
While not designing for Idea Shop, he often hits the road with only his dog and cameras, shooting pictures and living
on beef jerky for entire weeks. He owns a $300 pair of blue jeans from Japan but never wears them. He also yodels. His photography can
be seen at Flickr.com and on
his own web site.
